Part 1: Introducing the companies that make up NAS

March 31, 2016

Today we will start sharing information about the companies who have joined together to form NAS – a single-purpose, limited liability company whose only mission is to perform the Test Operations and Sustainment scope of work at Arnold Engineering Development Complex.

Bechtel National, Inc.
Bechtel National, Inc. leads NAS. The company is the U.S. government services arm of Bechtel, a family-run, engineering, project management, and government services company with 118 years of service to national security and commercial customers around the world. Bechtel operates through four global business units that specialize in infrastructure; mining and metals; nuclear, security and environmental; and oil, gas, and chemicals. Since its founding in 1898, Bechtel has worked on more than 25,000 projects in 160 countries on all seven continents.

Key projects include the Hoover Dam, the Channel Tunnel, the Reagan Test Site on Kwajalein Atoll, and the consolidation of Bettis and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratories into the Naval Nuclear Laboratory.

Bechtel is built upon time-tested values of excellence and integrity. This means working to the highest ethical standards and being measured by the enduring quality of our projects. Year after year we are among the safest companies in our industry.

We are committed to establishing a legacy of progress by developing local skills for sustained economic opportunity and volunteering our time and talent to the communities where we work.
