I’m pleased to share some positive news today on the U.S. Air Force’s Arnold Engineering Development Complex near Tullahoma, Tennessee.
The U.S. Court of Federal Claims has denied a protest by an unsuccessful offeror, and the Air Force’s Test Operations and Sustainment contract award to National Aerospace Solutions, LLC has been upheld. As you may recall, the Air Force’s original award to NAS came last June but transition was delayed by a protest, award reevaluation, and finally the legal challenge which was decided late last week.
The Air Force has informed us that we may begin the 90-day transition on April 1, 2016. Actual performance will begin on July 1, 2016.
We are looking forward to working with the talented team at AEDC and becoming a part of the community. The NAS team will be working closely with AEDC to finalize transition plans and will post updates to the NAS website as information becomes available.
