NAS is led by Bechtel — a privately held, family-run, global engineering, project management, and government services company with 117 years of service to national security and commercial customers around the world. Bechtel operates through four global business units that specialize in infrastructure; mining and metals; nuclear, security and environmental; and oil, gas, and chemicals. Since its founding in 1898, Bechtel has worked on more than 25,000 projects in 160 countries on all seven continents. Today, the company’s 58,000 colleagues team with customers, partners, and suppliers on diverse projects in nearly 40 countries.
Key projects include the Hoover Dam, the Channel Tunnel, the Reagan Test Site on Kwajalein Atoll, and the consolidation of Bettis and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratories into the Naval Nuclear Laboratory.

- Sierra Lobo Inc., a small, minority-owned enterprise based in Ohio, with additional offices in Alabama, California, Florida, and Virginia. Sierra Lobo provides advanced engineering, research and development, and superior test evaluation services that support NASA and DoD research and technology development efforts. Founded in 1993, Sierra Lobo today employs approximately 700 people, and has a Technology Development and Engineering Center (TDEC) and operations office in Milan, Ohio.
- GP Strategies Corporation, a member of the current AEDC operations contractor team, is a global performance improvement solutions provider of training, eLearning solutions, and management consulting and engineering services. GP Strategies’ solutions improve the effectiveness of organizations by delivering innovative and superior training, consulting and business improvement services customized to meet the specific needs of its clients. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, manufacturing, process and energy industries, and other commercial and government customers.

- nLogic Inc., a proven control systems hardware and software provider with customers including U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Special Operations, U.S. General Services Administration, Missile Defense Agency, Defense Commissary Agency, NASA, and U.S. Department of Agriculture.
- Chugach Federal Solutions Inc., Established in 1972 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), Chugach strives to fulfill its mission through developing operational businesses that provide wide-ranging services for federal and commercial clients including facilities management and maintenance, construction, technical and IT, oil and gas and education services.

Mike Costas, a Bechtel principal vice president, is chair of the NAS Board of Managers. The Board is composed of senior executives of NAS member companies, ensuring availability of parent company resources and application of best practices. Mr. Costas joined Bechtel in 2011 after 25 years in the defense and space industry. Rich Tighe, a Bechtel principal vice president, serves as the General Manager of NAS. He joins NAS after serving as the Bechtel Nuclear, Security and Environmental Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development and as a member of the NAS Board of Managers. Dr. Tighe has held leadership positions in defense and national security projects and markets for more than 20 years, including serving as assistant general manager for high hazard test and evaluation at the Nevada Test Site. Mike Belzil previously served as the Director of Security and Emergency Services for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Palmdale, California from 2007-2017. He is a retired Air Force Colonel who, over the span of his career, served as Chief of Staff for the Air Force Flight Test Center; Commander of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Air Base Wing and the Edwards Air Force Base 95th Support Group; Deputy Commander of the Elmendorf Air Force Base 3rd Support Group; and Deputy Chairman of the Air Board at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Headquarters, Brussels, Belgium. Kevin Chalmers will lead Integrated Resources for the NAS Team. This encompasses Labor Relations, Quality Assurance, Work Control, Acquisitions, Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls, and Safety, Health and Environment. Kevin most recently served as the chief operating officer for Bechtel in the United Kingdom in the Submarine Operating Centre of the Defence, Equipment and Supply organization for the U.K. Ministry of Defence. Kevin comes to NAS with 36 years of experience in a variety of roles including Vice President and Deputy Program Manager for Kwajalein Range Services at the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Test Site; Manager of Major Programs in Oak Ridge, TN; Business Development in the United Kingdom; Business Manager for the Pueblo Chemical Demilitarization Program in CO; Division Leader at the Los Alamos National Laboratory; and Procurement Functional Manager for Bechtel National, Inc. with a total of 28 years in various acquisitions roles.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”99″ img_size=”125×125″ alignment=”center” css_animation=”left-to-right”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text css_animation=”left-to-right”]Mission Execution Director: Mr. Rod Cregier
Rod Cregier serves as the Mission Execution Director for National Aerospace Systems at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex. Cregier spent 30 years in the Air Force and retired in 2015 as a colonel. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, he attended pilot training and flew the F-15C as well as multiple other aircraft. His next assignments focused on developmental and operational testing of the F-117A and its associated weapons. Cregier also spent three years as the F-35 Program Director at Edwards AFB, CA. Jonathan Ragan is the Business Services Director for NAS. He oversees Prime Contracts, Security, Human Resources, Training, Finance, Public Affairs, Office and Administrative Services, and Information Services and Technology. Prior to joining the NAS team, Jon served as Assistant Project Manager for the Pueblo Chemical Agent-destruction Pilot Plant in Pueblo, Colorado. He has also worked on Bechtel programs in Kentucky, Virginia, Alaska and Alabama. Ronnie Skipworth oversees the Utilities, Facilities and Services, Capital Projects and Work Control areas for NAS at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC). He brings 29 years of AEDC experience with prior assignments in utilities, design/project management, plant operations and maintenance, planning/scheduling and testing. Ronnie hired into AEDC as a test installation engineer and later became a system engineer before he entered the management arena. Dr. Woodrow Whitlow, Jr. is the Technical Director for National Aerospace Solutions. Before joining the NAS team, Dr. Whitlow was an Executive in Residence in the Cleveland State University Washkewicz College of Engineering. He collaborated with the Dean of Engineering to implement strategies to strengthen the college, increase enrollment in engineering disciplines and raise retention rates. He also served as Associate Administrator for the Mission Support Directorate at NASA Headquarters. The directorate had a budget of $3.8 billion. Prior to the job with NASA, Dr. Whitlow was the director of the Glenn Research Center, responsible for managing an annual budget of $750 million and overseeing a workforce of approximately 1,680 civil service employees, supported by about 1,580 contractors.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
