A message to Arnold Engineering Development Complex employees
I’m Brian Sheridan, chairman of the Board of Managers of National Aerospace Solutions, LLC.
NAS is honored to be selected by the United States Air Force to run Test Operations and Sustainment for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex. On behalf of the NAS team, we look forward to working with you.
AEDC has a rich history of aerospace testing and a wealth of experience in you, the workforce. Our goal is to build on your experience and dedication to take the Complex to the next level of performance.
Phase-in and transition
Under the terms of the transition process a 90-day transition period will start on 1 July. Until transition officially begins, we are a bit limited on what we can say and questions we can answer – so I appreciate your patience.
We are also holding off on announcing the names of the key leaders coming to Arnold until after the protest period is over. This is out of respect for the individuals and their current employers and assignments.
What we can say is that we will rely heavily on you during transition. The AEDC is built on you, the employees, and we recognize that you are the backbone of the mission.
We are committed to keeping you informed of developments throughout the transition. Although change can be challenging, we will do our best to be proactive in communication, transparent in process, and keep you keyed-in on decisions as they are made.
For additional information
NAS has set up an external website that you can access from home that will house the latest transition information. We are also working with the Air Force to post information on their transition website.
I know there will be many questions now and more in the weeks to come. We invite you to visit our website and provide us with your feedback and questions. We will update the site regularly.
We are excited to get started and I look forward to meeting with you in the coming days as we work toward making AEDC the tester of choice and continuing the great legacy of this Complex.
Brian
